IRD Documents

Income verification from Inland Revenue

Print Income Details

  1. Go to www.ird.govt.nz
  2. Click on myIR login and use your IRD Online Services username and password
  3. Scroll down to Income Tax
  4. Click More …
  5. Click Print Income details
  6. Specify the time period
  7. Click the Print income details button and save as a PDF file

💡 This will create a PDF document which can be emailed.

Proof of Income and KiwiSaver

  1. Go to www.ird.govt.nz
  2. Login using your IRD Online Services username and password
  3. Scroll down to KiwiSaver Member
  4. Under KiwiSaver provider name, click on ‘More’
  5. Scroll down to My details
  6. Click Proof of income and KiwiSaver
  7. Click Download

💡 This will create a PDF document that can be emailed.

Personal IR3 or Company IR4

  1. Go to www.ird.govt.nz
  2. Click on myIR login and use your IRD Online Services username and password
  3. Scroll down to Income Tax
  4. Click Returns and Transactions …
  5. Click the financial year end from the list
  6. Next to the line that says Assessment click the View return link
  7. At the top right of the screen click Print return

💡 This will create a PDF document that can be emailed.

Bank Statements

Download statements from your bank’s website

ANZ

  1. Go to ANZ’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click on the Documents tab
  4. Document type should be Statements
  5. Tick the checkbox next to the statement(s) you want and click Download

💡 Everything selected will be combined into a single PDF so do each account separately.

ASB

  1. Go to ASB’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click Menu and select either Documents or View Statements
  4. In the Document Centre, filter a time period, and set the selection for document type to statements only
  5. Select the accounts you want to view
  6. In the list below click on each statement that you want to download

BNZ

  1. Go to BNZ’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click Menu and select Documents
  4. Click Statements, and then select an account
  5. If you have NetGuard enabled fill in the code
  6. Select the statement you want to view
  7. Your PDF will open in a Preview Page. Click Save As/Download to save the bank statement

Kiwibank

  1. Go to KiwiBank’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click on the Statement Vault
  4. Click Download next to each statement
  5. On the preview page, click Download to save the bank statement

Westpac

  1. Go to Westpac’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click the account you want to view statements for
  4. Click Download Statements
  5. Filter your date range and click View Statements
  6. Click on the statement you want to view

The Cooperative Bank

  1. Go to Cooperative Bank’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. Click the account you want to view statements for
  4. Scroll down a little past Upcoming Payments, select Statements
  5. Filter your date range and click Search
  6. Click on the statement you want to view

SBS

  1. Go to SBS’s website
  2. Log into your internet banking
  3. In the Menu, select estatements
  4. Select view estatements
  5. Select the account and filter your date range
  6. Select the statement you wish to download

Generate

You can download your first-home withdrawal eligibility letter through your Generate account

AMP

To obtain your letter, you can email kiwisaver@amp.co.nz or call 0800 267 5494

Fisher Funds

Follow these steps to generate your letter:

  1. Head to fisherfunds.co.nz and click on the Login button on the top right corner of the page
  2. On a desktop computer, click on “Investment tools” in the menu and select “First Home Buyer’s Letter”
  3. Or on your mobile device, click on the white account card displaying your name and KiwiSaver balance. In the top right corner – click on the dots and select “First Home Buyer’s Letter” from the dropdown menu
  4. Or if you have the mobile app, click on “more” in the bottom right hand corner and select “Get first home buyer’s letter”
